Should this Card Come Off the Ban-list #1: 300px-TrishulaDragonoftheIceBarrier-HA04-EN-ScR-1E

Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier

    1 Tuner + 2 or more non-Tuner monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can activate this effect to remove from play up to one card each from your opponent's hand, field and Graveyard. (The card in the hand is chosen at random.)

I don't know about you, but I think Trishula should come off the Ban-list.  Since Nekroz of Trishula is at 3 and Konami is letting the deck float around with OP monsters, why is Trish banned?  Comment below if you agree with me, and also what other cards you want to see unbanned?

I have a rebuke for all of your points.

    1. Nekroz of Trishula may have that additional exactly 3 cards, but often times, there will be a card in each of those zones. Also, Nekroz of Trish has that additional discard effect.

    2. Nekroz of Trishula is more consistent to summon in a standard Nekroz deck than Trishula Dragon of the Ice Barrier is in a normal synchro deck.

    Additional point:
Do you know why Trish got banned?
Answer: From the amount of loops you could use it with in Infernities. Infernity Archfiend, Launcher, and Barrier are all at one. That deck will never loop Trishula again.

This is my opinion, so please accept that.

Nekroz of Trishula is hardly comparable to Trishula.

Trishula is not once per turn (allowing the aforementioned loops occurring), is generic (it is much easier to make than you seem to think it is, and is available to any synchro deck at that) and of course doesnt need a target in each zone...

NK of Trishula offers counterplay in that you can say, empty your hand to stop its effect, being only once per turn, and archetype specific - only summonable by spell cards each requiring specific tributes whilst only usable once per turn, at that.

One of my biggest complaints of Nekroz of Trishula IS that it's archetype specific.  My thoughts for this new series is to see your thoughts on cards coming off the banlist, not flaming me about my opinions.

I did not flame. The fact NK of Trish is archetype specific is a good thing. You asked for whether people agree with you, so Im telling you reasons why nobody should agree with you.

hmm well if it comes out it should be at 1 ofc idk what loops ur talking about though , but i don't think it will make much of a impact on the game just like in the ocg it is doing nothing at all because it is simply not good enough for the meta atm but it might be stronger when a strong sync deck comes still even then don't think it is gonna do much ik the difference between the 2 trishulas and how much sync one is better but i still can't see it braking the game unless their is some loops i never heard of.

In spite of the Infernity loop being limited and all , there's also like 9 other decks which could easily make this card and idk about OCG,but this card would be devastating in the TCG.I know most of what I'm about to say has already been covered but let me say it again :

Nekroz of Trishula can't even stand up to the real deal.Let's face it.I'm sure everyone here has played against a opponent who takes like 30 mins to summon 3 Quasar. If they can do that so easily what's to stop them from doing the same with this card?

Besides, this thing isn't "You can only use this once per turn", you can spam, spam, spam, banish, banish, banish. As for the summoning requirements , Srsly dude? 2 non-tuners and a tuner totalling 9 levels is hard for you?

This is not flaming your opinions. This is just me telling why exactly your opinions are terribly misguided

Would be nice to see trish back in the limited area.
To be honest it`s 50% realistic to push the synchron extreme structure with the limitation of one of the most powerful synchro monsters of this games history.

Yes their are special loops like:
infernity - isn`t relevant anymore (at least the synchro variant)
tuningware - possible, but not really consistent
six sam - nope gateway is banned

In my opinion trish is more a problem solver than anything else.
Plus synch-based decks could be more competitive than ever with the ability to trish during
    your opp.`s turn.

Unfortunately i have to agree with Stress and Squibboo.

you don't even have to have to loop this card. the fact it's so easily summoned is enough to keep the card banned.

most decent players will do as Squibboo said and Stress highlighted and that's keep a card out of one of those zones to avoid getting Trish'd.

Despite this giving synchro decks a push it will also break the game. first off burning abyss could summon this incredibly easily. they are all level 3. 3+3+3=9. 1 tuner and 2 non-tuners. decks like blackwings are already getting an insane amount of support, despite not being easy to summon Trish, they can still do it. Oroshi + Bora + Kris.

The fact you people seem to be forgetting is that Trishula is a win condition. if you get the effect off. you are almost certain to win the duel unless your opponent's deck is incredibly sustainable.
