Jolty's Gusto Guide Empty Jolty's Gusto Guide

    Jolty's Gusto Guide:

    Monsters:

    Pilica, descendant of gusto (3)
    Level 3
    atk: 1000 def: 1500
    Wind/psychic
When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 WIND Tuner monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in face-up Defense Position. Its effects are negated. If you activated this effect, you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except WIND monsters. You can only use this effect of "Pilica, Descendant of Gusto" once per turn.

Quickly became one of the best gusto cards apon its release, with its ability to ss gusto's from the grave to be used in all purposes such as synchro's and xyz plays, or to get that floater needed back on the field.

    Winda, Priestess of gusto (3)
    Level 2
    atk: 1000 def: 400
    Wind/psychic
When this card is destroyed by battle with an opponent's attacking monster and sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 "Gusto" Tuner monster from your Deck.

Floater for days, floats into your next gusto monster for many uses, as far from filling the grave to use support effs, to protecting you from taking massive damage by making an endless wall with other gusto's and a big part in the gusto otk makes this card a top choice.

    Gusto Egul (3)
    Level 1
    atk: 200 def: 400
    wind/winged beast
When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower non-Tuner "Gusto" monster from your Deck.

much the same as winda above but has that extra benefit of being a tuner to help with the odd synchro play, top choice.

    Gusto Gulldo (3)
    level 3
    atk: 500 def: 500
    wind/winged beast
When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower "Gusto" monster from your Deck.

Gulldo is inportant as whilst being of the same floater ability of the others it is able to float into most of the gusto's that start the endless chain of floats, and with its higher level has additional xyz and synchro plays.

    Kamui, hope of gusto (0-2)
    level 2
    atk: 200 def: 1000
    wind/psychic
FLIP: Special Summon 1 "Gusto" Tuner monster from your Deck.

Useful little monster, with its ability to fetch any lil gusto tuner from your deck for the purpose at hand, being a flip effect gives it pause for caution however to provent from being destroyed whilst face down, use carefully.

    Caam, serenity of gusto (1-2)
    level 4
    atk: 1700 def: 1100
    wind/psychic
Once per turn: You can shuffle 2 "Gusto" monsters from your Graveyard into the Main Deck; draw 1 card.

Able to refresh your floaters by returning them to the deck for the addition of a draw is a nice effect that makes this card always playable, however only useful latter in the game after plays have already gone off, not very useful in the early game.

    Gusto, Thunbolt (0-1)
    level 4
    atk: 1500 def: 1200
    wind/thunder
At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card is in the Graveyard because it was destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard this turn: You can banish 1 "Gusto" monster from your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 WIND Psychic-Type monster with 1500 or less DEF from your Deck.

awkward card with small uses, used at best at the end of float chains to get out a free caam to reset the monsters, can be used to summon other gusto's from the deck, but to less +.

    Reeze, whirlwind of gusto (0-1)
    level 5
    atk: 1900 def: 1400
    wind/psychic
Once per turn: You can return 1 card from your hand to the bottom of the Deck to target 1 monster your opponent controls and 1 face-up "Gusto" monster you control; switch control of both monsters.

very small use and difficult to use, being level 5 gives it summoning issues, gusto floats can easily be used for the tribute but is counter influencial to the decks design and also counters reeze's effect, which requires set up to use.

    Windaar, sage of gusto (0-1)
    level 6
    atk: 2000 def: 1000
    wind/psychic
When this card destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can target 1 Level 3 or lower "Gusto" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in face-up Defense Position.

Suffer's from the same issues as reeze, only made up by the potential of its effect setting up for larger synchro plays.

    Gusto squirro (0-1)
    level 2
    atk: 0 def: 1800
    wind/thunder
When this card is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 Level 5 or higher "Gusto" monster from your Deck

Only usable if running the high level gusto monster's and having a awkward effect to manage this, makes squirro awkward to use.

    Musto, oracle of gusto (0-1)
    level 4
    atk: 1800 def: 900
    wind/psychic
Once per turn: You can target 1 "Gusto" monster in your Graveyard and 1 face-up monster on the field; shuffle the first target into the Deck, and if you do, negate the second target's effects until the End Phase.

Has some usability, recycling is always helps with the added effect to negate an oppenents monster effect, practicality dictates this however will rarely be needed.

    Gusto griffin (0)
    level 2
    atl: 800 def: 200
    wind/wingedbeast
If this card is sent from the hand to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 "Gusto" monster from your Deck. You can only use the effect of "Gusto Griffin" once per turn.

    little use

    Gusto falco (0)
    level 2
    atk: 600 def: 400
    wind/wingedbeast
When this face-up card on the field is sent to the Graveyard, except by battle: You can Special Summon 1 "Gusto" monster from your Deck in face-down Defense Position.

    little use

    Gusto codor (0)
    level 3
    atk: 1000 def: 400
    wind/wingedbeast
When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 WIND Psychic-Type monster with 1500 or less DEF from your Deck.

    no use.

    Additional monster:

    Tempest, dragon ruler of storm's:
usable as a ruler allways will be, with this deck made of mostly winds.

    Debris Dragon:
Decent synchro ability with your kamui for level 6's such as goyo guardian and hts psymuth

    Windrose the elemental lord:
soul wind deck makes this card playable, with its backrow hate and in a deck that manages its grave well.

    Extra Deck Monster's:

    Daigusto falcos (0-1)
    level 4
    atk: 1400 def: 1200
    wind/psychic/synchro
    1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Gusto" monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned: All "Gusto" monsters currently on the field gain 600 ATK.

Nice atk boaster for a low level synchro, best used to boast other gusto monsters however.

    Daigusto gulldos (1-2)
    level 5
    atk: 2200 def: 800
    wind/psychic/synchro
    1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Gusto" monsters
Once per turn: You can shuffle 2 "Gusto" monsters from your Graveyard into the Main Deck to target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; destroy that target.

Decent monster with okay atk, added with its effect to manage your grave, reset your floaters and pop your opponents monster makes this card very usable in the deck.

    Daigusto sphreez (2-3)
    level 6
    atk: 2000 def: 1300
    wind/psychic/synchro
    1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Gusto" monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can target 1 "Gusto" card in your Graveyard; add that target to your hand. Your opponent takes any Battle Damage you would have taken from battles involving a face-up "Gusto" monster you control. This card cannot be destroyed by battle.

Best extra Deck monster gusto's have, nice effect to re add a gusto card from the grave to hand after summon is great, but its sphreez's ability to make the opponent take all battle damage from battles involving gusto monsters makes this card awsome, with all your monsters basically floating into eachover you can effectively crash your way to an easy otk.

    Daigusto eguls (0-1)
    level 7
    atk: 2600 def: 1800
    wind/psychic/synchro
    1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Gusto" monsters
Once per turn, during your End Phase: You can banish 1 WIND monster from your Graveyard to target 1 face-down card your opponent controls; destroy that target.

Pointless counter productive effect, best used as a beater.

    Daigusto Phoenix (0-1)
    rank 2
    atk: 1500 def: 1100
    wind/pyro/xyz
    2 Level 2 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 face-up WIND monster you control; this turn, it can attack twice during each Battle Phase.

Very nice monster, but can sometimes be an ask for this deck to summon.

    Spells/Traps:

    Contact with Gusto (2-3)
Target 2 "Gusto" monsters in your Graveyard and 1 card your opponent controls; shuffle both targets in your Graveyard to the Deck, then destroy the opponent's target.

Only consistantly useful spell/trap gusto's have with a nice effect to recycle and pop.

    Blessings for gusto (0-1)
Target 2 "Gusto" monsters in your Graveyard, plus a third "Gusto" monster in your Graveyard; shuffle both of the first 2 targets into your Deck, then Special Summon the third target.

Useful only when you have a stocked grave of gusto's to recycle and then summon.

    Additional spells/traps:

    Creature swap:
great card to trade your gusto floater for your opponents monster to still be able to use your gusto's effect when you destroy it.

    Emergency Teleport:
quick play able to summon out pilcia, winda or kamui from your deck at anytime for any purpose when used and needed.

    Icarus Attack:
while this card wont set off the effects of the monster tributed to activate, trading a winged beast, to destroy to of your opponents cards is too good not to run.
